How it’s made

The Production Journey

Step 01

Leaf Collection

Fallen areca palm leaf sheaths are collected from farms after they naturally drop — no tree is cut or leaf is picked green.

Step 02

Sun Drying

Collected leaves are sun-dried to the right moisture level, which improves flexibility and makes them ready for cleaning.

Step 03

Pressure Washing

Dried leaves are washed with high-pressure water to remove dust and surface impurities, with no chemicals or bleach used.

Step 04

Heat Pressing

Cleaned leaves are shaped using heated moulds under pressure, which binds the natural leaf fibres into a rigid plate or bowl.

Step 05

First Quality Check

Freshly pressed pieces are checked for shape, thickness, and surface defects before moving to trimming.

Step 06

Edge Trimming

Excess leaf material is trimmed from the rim so every piece has a clean, consistent edge.

Step 07

Final Quality Check

Trimmed pieces are inspected a second time for strength, finish, and any cracks or discoloration before packing.

Step 08

Sterilization

Pieces are sterilized before packing to ensure they are hygienic and ready for food contact.

Step 09

Export Packing

Approved pieces are stacked, shrink-wrapped, and packed into export cartons ready for container loading.

Dual-Stage Quality Inspection

Every batch passes through two separate quality checks — right after pressing and again after trimming — so only pieces that meet shape, strength, and finish standards reach the packing line.

Chemical-Free Hygiene

No adhesives, dyes, bleach, or chemical preservatives are used at any stage — from leaf collection through to packing — so what reaches your customers is the natural leaf, shaped and cleaned.
